Who is Warren Christopher?

Jobs: Warren believes that private-public partnerships,innovation and a raising of the minimum wage are great ways to bring and keep jobs that are well paying. Warren believes that investing in bridges and roads and investing in green energy will help get people working once again. Additionally, Warren believes that fostering entrepreneurship in innovation will create the products of tomorrow and support small business growth.

Education: Warren believes that in order to compete in the 21st century, education must be at the center of our priorities. Whether the topic is investment in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)  or STEAM (STEM and the Arts), ensuring workforce development by investing in community colleges, preschool education or finding ways to cut the interest rate on college loans –  Warren knows that investing in education is vital to a successful nation.

Veterans: Veterans have served on freedom’s frontier and Warren is certain that we must do better for our veterans. Access to affordable housing, ending MST and assisting those with TBI and PTSD must be our priorities. We will do better for our Veterans.

Seniors: Our seniors have worked hard in their adult lives and now deserve the opportunity to live with dignity and respect. This means ensuring that Social Security is viable for the future. Warren believes that he can safeguard this program well into the future without further burdening the Middle Class.

Women: The most fundamental right of our citizens is to allow them to make decisions regarding their own bodies. Therefore, Warren believes that we must have access to reproductive health. Warren will fight  vigorously against any legislation which takes away rights from women and will team up with the Senate to get the Paycheck Fairness Act enacted into law.

National Security: As a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army, Warren understands the importance of hardline diplomacy and ensuring the continued support for our allies abroad. As a combat army veteran officer and as a combat veteran, Warren will vote to pursue diplomacy before considering committing troops to the battlefield.
